USING DULCET RIGHT NOW AND MUST SAY THAT IT IS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR IN AAS STRING STUDIO BUT NEVER GOT TO MAKE IT SOUND AS NICE AS DULCET SOUNDS.
ReplyDeleteFEELS ORGANIC AND FRESH!
OHHH ME LIKE VERY MUCH
THANK U SO MUCH XENOBIOZ
SAMURAI KATT KOVBOY
Kruud has some inspiring sounds. thanks for the cool synth!
ReplyDeleteWow, dulcet is really nice. Definitely a step up from string studio.
ReplyDeleteJust missing one thing--microtuning. Nothing makes a modeling synth sound more real. I retrofitted it on both Prism and Steampipe. Dulcet would replace Steampipe in my setup if only it had xenharmonics.... And I'd gladly pay for it!
Thanks, glad to hear you like it.
ReplyDeleteMicro tuning would be nice indeed. I hope I can add it some day, but it might take a long time til then.
I would love to begin using your instruments, but Microsoft is refusing me access to the downloads for any of them. Please find a dropbox situation or some other that allows access without needing to involve ourselves with these nasty Microsoft people and whatever their game is this week!
DeleteOk, I'll add mirrors to the VST downloads. Thanks for informing me.
DeleteDownload mirrors now available
DeleteXenobioz, thanks so much for providing that alternate download mirror! I jumped right on it. With a synth name like 'kruud' my curiosity was killing me, and the instrument looks so well put together, too. I'm rather choosy with VSTi, but if it does become a staple, I always return before very long to support freeware builders. Cheers! --Tele
DeleteBig C64 fan, so I grabbed Kruud. I'm fed up with the commercial C64 VSTi's crashing all the time. Kruud is super nice, but it doesn't seem to have a waveform-change step sequencer like retro-gsx does... thus I can't fathom how to make a Rob Hubbard style bass drum (which kind of starts with a saw for a split moment, then noise, then ends with a square wave). Xenobioz, any plans to implement a waveform-change step sequencer?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have good Kruud patches, especially percussion?
Cheers,
DjLizard
Thanks for your interest in kruud! I'm happy to hear you enjoy using it.
DeleteWave sequencing is something I've been thinking about before.
But I was thinking I would leave it for the next version of kruud. But kruud2 might never get done. So I'll think about adding it to kruud one.
I also almost finished kruud+ which is a 3 oscillator synth similar to kruud. It can mix between the 3 oscillators but not as easy as a wave sequencer.
I might release more patches in the future.
But I won't make any updates in a while so you might have to wait a bit.
I neglected to give it the proper amount of praise in my last post - I hope I didn't come off as a complainer because that's definitely not it. Kruud is actually freaking badass. I was just curious about the wave sequencer, is all. Thanks for replying so fast! Wonderful work.
ReplyDeleteIt's all right. I was happy to read your post. It's fun to get some feedback from users too. :)
DeleteKruudster sound so good.
ReplyDeleteI will try it soon.
Good work you have done on it and others too ;)
Thank you, grache mile, merci bien. Gracias desde España. Pronto traeré algun link con música creada desde tus instrumentos. Eres grande.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Looking forward to hear your music!
DeleteEvery one of your instruments are works of art. Thank you for all of your hard work!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteHello! I have you VSTs; and they look great! The only problem is I don't know how to use them.
ReplyDelete:-)
I'm fairly new to using VSTs, and I LOVE it! But at this early stage in the game, I only use the VSTs that have a "presets" module visible in the container.
I have tried to research and learn by myslef how to use presets when there is no visible "presets" module; but I can't find anywhere online where anybody is addressing that very obvious issue.
I wonder if you would take a few moments to teach me this procedure, or at least point me in the right direction.
thanks!
Andy
Hi Andy! What VST host software are you using? Some hosts will allow you to change presets even when there isn't a built in preset browser in the vst. I use Jeskola Buzz tracker and it does that. It's free also. But maybe there is a solution for you host too.
DeleteYes, I see now that my VST host does give me access to your presets. I can now fully enjoy your synths! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you Very mach!Very nice vst!!!!!!!!!!!Wow!)
ReplyDeletethank yooouuuu!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Incredible machines!!!
ReplyDeleteque buen trabajo gracias por el aporte a todos los diseñadores de sonido y musicos que hay gracias. no lo dejen de hacer
ReplyDeleteHey there, I've really enjoyed using Kruudster, however, I am running into something odd problems on Windows 10 64-bit with FL Studio 12.3 (also 64bit). I'd love to email you about them if you're still fixing things with it.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm not planning to work more on kruudster. I have also very little time for any VST development right now. I might fix small bugs if it's already known what causes them and they are easy to fix.
